Microsoft releases a new firmware update for the Surface Go, and Surface Go LTE, the most affordable members of the Surface family.
What’s new in the latest Surface Go Firmware Update
- Surface UEFI – Firmware 1.0.19.0 – resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 190013.

- Generic IO & Memory Access – System devices 1.5.5.0 – resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 190013.
Surface Go is available from $339, weighs just 522g and comes with Windows 10 pre-installed. Whilst initially running Windows 10 in S-mode, you can update to a regular version of Windows 10 for free if you prefer greater functionality.
