Move over, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania – it’s time for two new games to take pole position this July!
As always, with each new month comes two more free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This month consists of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo.
Pro Evolution Soccer is the 18th instalment in the PES series and was first released in 2018. As you may be able to guess from the name, it’s a football/soccer sports game.
PES 2019 features a wide and varied selection of real-world licensed leagues, including hundreds of players who will be instantly recognisable to any dedicated football fan. It brings all the thrill of real-life sports directly to whichever room in your house your console is located.
Horizon Chase Turbo is a racing game which puts a modern spin on the old-school racers of the arcade era. It’s a love letter and a throwback, and it’s guaranteed to capture your heart.
Each curve and each lap in Horizon Chase Turbo recreates classic arcade gameplay and offers you unbound speed limits of fun. You can race on your own solo or play against up to three friends.

Both Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo will be available to download for free for all PlayStation Plus members from July 2nd until August 5th.
In the meantime, PS Plus members have until July 1st to nab both Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania for free while they can.
