Samsung just unveiled its highly anticipated Galaxy Note10 at their Unpacked event.

For the first time ever, you can choose between a 6.8″ and a 6.3″ Cinematic Infinity Display; the biggest Note display and the most compact Note display, respectively.

The Galaxy Note 10 is mostly bezel-less, with a small, centred in-display cut out for the front camera.

The Note 10 features Dynamic AMOLED with HDR10+ certification and Dynamic Tone Mapping.  This makes for the brightest photos and videos yet, as well as a wide range of colours.

The display has 98% colour and brightness uniformity, and Eye Comfort display reduces blue light, without changing colour quality.

The Galaxy Note10’s display is Samsung’s best yet. From its physical construction to its underlying technology, the display is designed to immerse users in their favorite TV, movies and games.

The smartphone features new technologies to enable enhanced productivity.

Users can jot down notes with the re-designed uni-body S Pen, and convert their handwriting to test in Samsung Notes.  It can then be exported to a variety of different formats, including Microsoft Word.  It’s now possible to customise the size and colour of the text.

The new S Pen has Air actions, which allow you to control your device using gestures.  Developers can create customised controls that allows users to play games or use other applications using gestures.  This can be done through Air Actions SDK.

It’s now easier for users to work between their phone and PC or Mac, with extended Samsung DeX capabilities.  With a compatible USB connection, users can drag and drop files between devices.  It’s now possible to use mobile apps with a mouse and keyboard, while keeping data secure on their phone through Samsung Knox.

The Galaxy Note 10 integrates Link to Windows into the Quick Panel; so users can connect to their Windows PC with just one click.  There, you’ll find notifications and recent photos, and review recent photos without having to stop and look down at their phone.

Premium video technology is integrated into the Note 10, with live focus video, zoom-in mic and super steady features.  Live focus video adds depth-of-field adjustments, enabling you to blur the background to put emphasis on the subject.  The Zoom-In-Mic amplifies the audio in frame, and minimises background noise.  Super steady stabilises footage, and comes in Hyperlapse mode for steady time-lapse videos.

Users can edit videos instantly on their phone with video editor.  The S-Pen is compatible, allowing you to edit your footage more precisely.  You can use Adobe Rush for more advanced editing tools.

Screen recorder now allows you to capture what you’re doing on screen.  You can use picture-in-picture mode to add reactions and the S Pen to annotate as you record.

The Galaxy Note10 comes with bleeding-edge AR and 3D capabilities into the Ultra Wide Camera.  AR Doodle teamed with the S Pen will enable you to personalise photos with dynamic drawings, effects and animations that track to the image.  The DepthVision camera creates a 3D scanner, which can scan the object, and instantly turn it into a movable 3D rendering.

Night Mode will enable users to take photos with the front-face camera in poor lighting conditions.

Super Fast Charging with up to 45W wired charging capability, means that only 30 minutes of charging can be enough to last the whole day.

With Wireless Powershare, you can wirelessly recharge the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, and other Qi-enabled devices, with the Galaxy Note10.

The Note 10 features the world’s slimmest vapour chamber cooling system, thereby delivering optimal performance during gameplay; while ensuring the device remains slim.

AI-based Game Booster optimises performance and power consumption while playing games.  The PlayGalaxy Link P2P streaming service allows users to resume any PC game from where they last left off; and continue playing on the go, with no local storage needed.

The Galaxy Note10 +5G allows you to stream high resolution videos, and download content super fast, and stream graphics-heavy games in real-time.  There’s also an LTE version available.

The wearables range includes the Galaxy Watch Active 2.  The Galaxy Tab S6 is also a part of the premium products range,

Improved services include Samsung Pay, which allows users to make fast, secure payments; and Samsung Health, which provides seamless tracking and monitoring.   Additionally, Samsung Knox safeguards data with defence-grade security solutions.  Samsung’s intelligence platform, Bixby, provides integrated support to help keep you organised.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will be released on August 23rd, in Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black.
