Have a problem? Accenture Microsoft Business Group has the solution

Accenture in partnership with Microsoft and Avanade, today announced the launch of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group. This new group will include more than 45,000 professionals, the largest group of Microsoft solution experts in the world and it is Microsoft’s largest partner investment to date. If you have a problem that can be solved using technology, this new Accenture Microsoft Business Group will most probably have the solution to your problem.

Emma McGuigan, senior managing director at Accenture will lead the Accenture Microsoft Business Group. This group will be focusing on helping clients migrate to Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365. It will also co-invest in functional and industry solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

Update: I got clarification from Microsoft regarding this new group, read it below:

The AMBG is an Accenture business group in partnership with Avanade and Microsoft. Avanade is still the standalone entity & will continue its Direct business. This is a new dedicated group within Accenture w/10K new dedicated Accenture professionals which will work closely with Avanade’s 35K professionals (solely dedicated to MSFT) in this new group led by Emma. The group will focus on driving business solutions powered by Microsoft.  Microsoft is not making any organizational changes as part of this, and already works closely with Accenture and Avanade across engineering, marketing and sales.
