Google has officially released the agenda for its highly anticipated developer conference, Google I/O 2025, scheduled to take place from May 20 to 21. This year’s event promises major announcements and insights across artificial intelligence, Android, web technologies, and cloud computing.
The conference will begin with the Google Keynote at 10:00 AM PT on May 20, followed by the Developer Keynote at 1:30 PM PT. The entire I/O experience will be for the first time available to a worldwide audience as the event will be livestreamed on both days from Mountain View, California.

A central focus of I/O 2025 is Google’s advancements in AI. Attendees will learn about new capabilities with Gemini models, including the Gemma open-source variant and on-device AI tools designed to enhance productivity and application development.
Android developers can expect sessions on creating intelligent, adaptive apps across devices, with the help of Google AI and new tools in Google Play. On the web front, updates include improvements in web UI, Baseline progress, and integrated multimodal AI through Gemini Nano.
Following the live event, on-demand sessions and codelabs will be available starting May 22. Registration is open now, with featured sessions including “What’s New in Android” and “Frontiers of AI” with Demis Hassabis.
