Feedly is rapidly becoming the go-to replacement for the soon to be retired Google Reader service.

The company have announced that not only will their app be API-compatible with Google Reader, but that they have also work with apps like NextGen Reader to make sure the app is plug and play compatible with their new service.

In addition, after more than 9000 votes, they have also agreed to create apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8.
