The arrival of Dark Theme is undoubtedly one of the most exciting features in the Android 10 Update, which recently rolled out to Google’s Pixel smartphones. However, from what we’ve seen, the implementation of the Dark Theme seemed to be a work in progress. In other words, Dark Theme in Android 10 is not truly ‘system-wide.’

On the bright side, Google is hard at work to implement the Dark Theme throughout Android 10 and the latest component of Android to get the Dark Theme is the Google Play Store.

The Dark Theme on Play Store was first spotted on the Pixel 2 XL smartphone running Android 10 by folks at XDA. Although XDA claims to have tinkered with the Play Store, it’s said that Google is rolling out the Dark Theme in Play Store only to selected Pixel users running Android 10.

Testing of Dark Theme in Play Store with selected users is a good sign. It means that we’ll soon see Google rolling the feature to every Pixel users running Android 10 and eventually to all users running Android 10 in other supported smartphones.
