Google’s most leaked handset, the Pixel 4, is delivering a lot more of its goodies, including now many of its unique software features, including its launcher and new live wallpapers.
The new Pixel 4 launcher has one key improvement over the earlier versions in the Pixel 3 – the ability to pull down the notification shade by swiping down on the home screen.
The feature is already present on other launchers, including Microsoft Launcher, but it is good to see this coming to Google’s version also. Unfortunately, you need a Pixel device running Android 10 to install this, but this does mean most Pixel handsets can benefit.
More widely applicable is the Pixel 4’s live wallpapers, which have been modified to be usable on any 64 bit Android 7 or above handset.
The download links for both features can be found at XDA-Developers here (launcher) and here (wallpaper). The Pixel 4 itself is expected to be announced on the 15th of October.
