Yes, you read it correct. Just today Google announced the launch of 24X7 Business support for its Google Apps Enterprise product. Even small stores and web services these days have 24X7 support through phone. But Google offered only email based support for all its enterprise customers including some governments so far.

From their announcement,

Since we launched Google Apps for Business in 2007, we’ve been working hard to build a global support offering that’s responsive to the needs of our business customers. In the early days, our customers reached us mainly through email, and our 24 x 7 phone support was limited to critical issues.
To improve the experience of our customers, we now provide 24 x 7 phone support to small, medium, and large Google Apps for Business customers for all issues affecting the core services.

They even claim that over 95% of the customers are satisfied with their service/support. Then why are they launching it now ?? Google’s Atmosphere conference is going on today where many CIOs are participating to discuss on Google Cloud. Microsoft responded to their Atmosphere event by calling it :Admosphere”.
