Nokia received a lot of criticism for not announcing any price or delivery date for their new range of Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

In the German market things are moving along much faster however, answering many of the questions that were left hanging 2 days ago.

WPArea.de reports that two German online retailers are both taking pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 820 and Nokia Lumia 920, with the 820 costing 449 Euro and the 920 599 Euro.

More interestingly one of the retailers, Cyberport, is listing the delivery date as around the 18th October 2012, meshing with the “middle of October” rumours we heard earlier.  This is around 2 weeks earlier than the rumoured US launch data, again very similar to the usual Windows Phone launch pattern, which sees handsets arrive in Europe in October and November in USA.

As an aside, Nokia is also doing its best to keep Nokia Lumia 800 and 900 sales going, by offering free Nokia Play 360° speakers with each purchase between 7th September and 31st October.
