Fast and Furious Adrenaline is an arcade racing Xbox Live game for Windows Phone 7 (Video Review)
Overall: 4/5
Although Fast and Furious Adrenaline is a lot of fun and offers great variety, its basic gameplay (no control over acceleration) is disappointing.
Gameplay: 4/5 (Weighted to be 2x more important)
This game is always enjoyable to play, with simple controls, great handling, and exciting nitros boosts. There’s plenty of variety in the game, with a good number of race tracks, a great selection of race types (Normal races, time trials, cop chases, and drag races), and some well placed shortcuts in races. However, your car’s speed is completely controlled by the game. The only control you have over your speed is the nitros and brakes, there is no gas pedal. The lack of speed control separates this game from being a more serious racing game.
Visuals: 3/5
The graphics aren’t impressive, but they work. However, I had the frame rate drop a few times, which really hindered the ability to play the game. Otherwise, drifting through corners or using your nitros is visually appealing.
Story: N/A
There isn’t really a story, you just complete races to take over the city. For an arcade racer like this, a story would just slow things down.
