Update: According to numerous Xbox Insiders, game gifting is now available. One of our staff members is in the Beta Ring and was able to confirm the feature.
One of the most requested features since the Xbox One was revealed in 2013 has to be the ability to gift games. We’ve asked and asked for it but we haven’t heard much from Microsoft. Well, it looks like the ability is almost here. While answering a question on Twitter, Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra said that the ability to gift games would be available very soon.

This is great news because people have been waiting for this for years. We can’t tell you how many times we’ve contacted Microsoft about this. Hopefully this will be part of the redesign which is supposed to roll out when the Xbox One X launches. We’ll just have to wait and see. Until then, it’s comforting to know that our requests are finally coming to fruition.
