In an effort to build more secure workplace devices, Fujitsu has partnered with Microsoft to build Windows 10 devices with Windows Hello and palm vein authentication technology. Similar to the facial and fingerprint recognition offered by Windows Hello, Fujitsu’s palm vein authentication technology called PalmSecure maps the veins under your skin to confirm identity. Fujitsu mentioned that companies like Banco Bradesco and Lotte Card are already using this technology to protect their enterprise devices.

Just like placing your finger on the fingerprint sensor, you can place your hand above the sensor. The sensor will read your unique vein map and authenticate it. Since the vein map is insider your palm, it will be difficult for anyone to replicate it unlike fingerprints.

You can now buy Fujitsu PCs with this PalmSecure technology. find the available PCs here.
