Film and TV app updated for Insiders in the Fast Ring with Always on Top videos

The Film and TV app for Windows and Windows 10 Mobile has been updated to take advantage of one of the Creator’s update’s latest new feature – compact overlay windows ie Always on Top video.

The update to version 10.17012.1030.0 is only available to Insiders in the fast ring and besides now supporting the always on top video feature, the new app now also supports a larger number of video formats. For MPEG-2 video, the app will now prompt you to download the necessary codec.

The updated app can be downloaded by Insiders from the Windows Store here.
