Eve has been teasing its upcoming Windows 10 device for quite a while. Today, the company has confirmed the final specifications of its upcoming device, the Eve V. According to the company, Eve V will come with Intel’s 7th Gen Core M3/i5/i7 processors. The device will also come with up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a 12.3-inch IGZO LCD display, a fingerprint scanner, quad speakers, and a wireless keyboard. The device will also support a Thunderbolt 3 port, two USB Type-C ports, and a 48Wh battery.
Eve has also compared the device with Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 which is where the Eve V shines quite a lot. The Eve V beats the Surface Pro 4 in most cases, which isn’t really surprising to see as the Surface Pro 4 is more than a year old.
As you can see in the comparison above, the Eve V has better processors than the Surface Pro 4 as it’s coming with Intel’s latest Kaby Lake processors. Additionally, the device also has better ports and connectivity than the Surface Pro 4. As for the battery, the Eve V is also ahead of the Surface Pro 4 — but it’ll be interesting to see if the device’s battery life is actually any better than the Surface Pro 4. Microsoft Surface Pro 4, on the other hand, does beat the Eve V when it comes to the cameras as it boasts a 5MP camera on the front and an 8MP camera on the back — however, the Eve V only includes a 2MP camera on the front and a 5MP camera on the back.
The Eve V should be available via an Indiegogo campaign sometime soon, but the device’s price is still unknown.
