Official Nokia blog started the confusion among consumers that If you are registered to Windows Phone Developer Preview Program, you might need to use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool to return your Lumia to a normal commercial software before downloading the Lumia Cyan update. Using Nokia Software Recovery Tool to downgrade your OS means you will lose all the apps you have installed on your device.
However, Joe Belfiore today confirmed on Twitter that all developer preview users will also get the Cyan firmware update when it becomes available to their respective devices. So, you need not downgrade your developer preview OS to old retail build to get Lumia Cyan update.
