At long last, Destiny 2 joins the growing list of games that are Xbox One X enhanced as of today. This was officially revealed by Aaron Greenberg on Twitter.
Excited to officially have @DestinyTheGame 2 now in 4K Ultra HD & HDR as latest #XboxOneXEnhanced title! #FeelTruePower #Destiny2 https://t.co/uQlptomQtJ

Destiny 2 will now support 4K UHD resolution and high-dynamic range (HDR). If you play Destiny 2 on consoles, the Xbox One X will by far be the best version to get. Unfortunately, Destiny 2 is still locked at 30FPS on Xbox One X, but this boost in visuals is much appreciated for a game that already looks gorgeous. Whether or not Bungie is implementing other visual enhancements (similar to what For Honor recently did) is unknown. You can pick it up from the Microsoft Store if you have yet to purchase it.
This news comes alongside the launch of Destiny 2’s first big expansion, Curse of Osiris. This DLC adds a whole new area called The Infinite Forest on Mercury, a location that was built by the Vex to simulate reality however they pleased. New Crucible arenas and co-op activities are also being added.
The servers are currently down as maintenance is being done in preparation for this update.
