Speaking on twitter, Rudy Huyn has announced that he has commenced development on a Universal version of 6tag, his 3rd party Instagram app.
Unlike the official Instagram beta app for Windows Phone, 6tag offers features such as video upload, custom locations and more and is regularly updated.
Rudy notes that his Universal Windows App will take around 2 months to complete, but that he hopes to release a beta to enthusiasts sooner. The app is sure to be popular with even non-Windows Phone users, as there are very limited options to access Instagram’s more advanced features from the big screen.
