Joe, a WMPoweruser.com reader, has managed to discover the secret of the lost microSD card on the Dell Venue Pro.
It appears that the card is hidden behind a Warranty Void Sticker next to the SIM card. This makes the card nearly as accessible as the Samsung Focus,. but annoyingly still means users will sacrifice their warranty for no clear reason.
