Dead or Alive 6 has already gone free-to-play just a week after its official release.

Koei Tecmo’s brand-new premium fighter is now available to play for no money at all, with a few caveats.

Just like Dead or Alive 5, DOA 6’s Core Fighters incarnation allows you to play with just four characters. Most of the game’s modes are available to try out, but players will have to deal with weekly character rotations.

As of right now, Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters lets you play as Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass. Players can either purchase characters individually, buy them all together or wait for new rotations.

In a press release by Koei Tecmo, it was announced that Core Fighters players can also access the game’s story mode.

All of this comes alongside a new update that Dead or Alive 6. Now, players can appreciate new high-level quests, new entrance, and victory scenes and better costume unlocking.
