Cortana’s near-accurate predictions are now something we pretty much take for granted since the world cup matches. Yesterday, the personal assistant delivered once again, accurately predicting the winners and runners-up of the Eurovision song contest.

A request to Cortana prior to the contest would have revealed Sweden as the most likely to win, with Russia, Italy and Australia coming in close behind. As anyone who watched the show can attest, Sweden did come in first and  Russia, Italy and Australia placed 2nd, 3rd and 5th respectively. In 4th place was Belgium, which was overlooked by Cortana. While this shows that Microsoft’s assistant’s still has a way to go, it is still a pretty impressive result overall.
