The rumors are true. Samsung has officially launched its first Copilot+-certified hardware, the Galaxy Book4 Edge, to the masses, just weeks after its initial announcement.

The South Korean tech giant said that the Snapdragon X Elite-powered device, available in Sapphire Blue, is available starting today (18 June) in the UK, US, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, and Spain. Availability and timing will vary by region, and we’re expecting an even faster expansion to other markets real soon.

From the inside, Galaxy Book4 Edge gets Snapdragon X Elite with 40 TOPS (trillion operations per second). It’s an important way to measure how well an NPU works, and while it’s still considerably less than AMD Ryzen AI 300 with 50 TOPS, you still get impressive AI integration thanks to both Galaxy AI and Copilot+.

You can now order the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge for as low as $1,349,99 and get it by 8 July.

It also has Qualcomm Adreno GPU for 4x faster AI processing, options for 14-inch or 16-inch AMOLED displays with up to 3K resolution, 16GB of RAM, and options for 512GB or 1TB storage.

As for connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 has Wi-Fi 7 readiness, on-device and cloud-based AI processing, and a Link to Windows for mobile-to-PC connectivity. It also has ports for USB4.0, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone out/mic-in combo.

“The Galaxy Book4 Edge marks the beginning of a whole new category of PCs, and for Samsung, a continued commitment to expand the power of Galaxy AI and offer the most hyperconnected mobile AI ecosystem yet,” says Samsung’s TM Roh, who serves as the tech giant’s head of the mobile experience business.
