Today, Google announced a new category of Chromebooks called Chromebook Plus. The new Chromebook Plus will offer improved performance, thanks to its minimum guaranteed specs. You can read more about Chromebook Plus here.
In addition to the improved hardware specs, Chromebook Plus will come with several new software features including background blur, improved lighting, and more during video calls, and others. Even though the new software features will be available as part of the new Chromebook Plus devices from OEMs, Google will be delivering Chromebook Plus OS features as an update to some existing Chromebooks as well.
Chromebooks listed below qualify for Chromebook Plus OS update to include the new features found on Chromebook Plus devices in the coming weeks. This global Chromebook Plus OS update will begin to roll out on October 17, 2023.
