WindowsPhoneHacker have posted instructions and tools for jailbreaking and interop unlocking Samsung Windows Phones without needing to purchase a Developer Unlock for $99 or ChevronUnlock for $9.

The unlock clearly takes advantage of vulnerability in the Zipview application, which works on all Windows Phones, but the provisioning part is specific to Samsung devices.

Jaxbot is however starting the WindowBreak project to help extend this to other devices, including HTC and Nokia ones.

More on the project can be read at WindowsPhoneHacker here and the actual unlock tool is available at windowsphonehacker.com/windowbreak
