Nokia today announced one of the much anticipated things in Windows Phone platform. NFC (Near Field Communications) is now supported in upcoming Lumia 610NFC Windows Phone device. You can now tap NFC tags to open a webpage or stream music to NFC supported speakers. Nokia also announced that NFC payment solution Mastercard Paypass is also built into Lumia 610NFC allowing you to make payments with just a tap of your phone.

The video was made private by Nokia now. Anyway this confirms our previous report that Nokia Lumia 610 will come with NFC support. Now the real doubt now is whether Lumia 610 will be released in two versions? One with NFC and another without it ? Or both the devices are same. Nokiabuff re-uploaded the video which you can watch it above.

Thanks to Fahd for the tip.
