The virtual reality edition of Borderlands 2 is officially set to release on PC before the end of 2019, almost an entire year since the game’s initial VR release on PlayStation VR.
The PC version of Borderlands 2 VR also introduces something called Bad Ass Mega Fun Time, a special skill that allows players to stop and have a little slow-mo think about what to do next during battle.
That’s not all, though! The PlayStation VR version of Borderlands 2 is set to get a free upgrade that’ll add more DLC into the game in the form of the Bad Ass Mega Fun DLC pack.
The BAMF DLC pack, as it can be conveniently shortened to, contains all the following:
- Captain Scarlet and Her Pirate’s Booty
- Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage
- Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
- Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
- Creature Slaughter Dome
- The Mechromancer and Psycho classes
- All five Headhunter DLC packs
- Both Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade packs
- Vault Hunter Heads and Skin packs
The PC version of Borderlands 2 VR will contain both the base game and all the content in the BAMF DLC pack, meaning players won’t be missing out or waiting on an update for the DLC.
There’s no exact release date for Borderlands 2 VR yet, or even which digital storefront it’ll be on, but we’ll let you know when we get more details.
For now, you can get your Borderlands fix with Borderlands 3, which is out on September 13th, 2019. It’ll be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. You can check out the PC specs here.
