The Bluetooth SIG has never been as productive of information as recently, first revealing tasty specs on the Samsung Cetus, and today actually announcing the launch date of the LG C900 windows phone 7 device.

According to the SIG, the smartphone, which will be available in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America, will be hitting the market around the 28 September 2010.

The device is set to be available in 3 variants, the LG C900N, LG C900K and LG C900B.  Unfortunately the entry does not reveal the meaning of the modifiers.

While the entry specifies a date, it does seem a bit too soon, and may represent a shipping date rather than the actual availability on shelves.  Either way, it has been a long wait but it is clear Windows phone 7 will very soon be upon us.
