Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War PS5 players could’ve been in for a huge surprise when it comes to installing the next-gen version of Treyarch’s FPS on their shiny new console.
An image of the upcoming shooter’s PlayStation 5 case has started making the rounds online, a case that claims PlayStation 5 players will need a massive 285GB of storage minimum to play the game.

However, shortly after this image started making the rounds, Activision released the correct information on the official Call of Duty blog that revealed just how much storage space the cross-gen game will take up on each platform.
Here’s the correct information:
PC: 35 GB (Multiplayer Only) / 82GB (Full Game) / 125GB (Full Game on Ultra Graphics)
PlayStation 4: 95GB
PlayStation 5: 133GB
Xbox One: 93GB
Xbox Series X|S: 136GB
To save space on console, players will be able to independently install components of the upcoming game – such as Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies – so you don’t need to waste space on modes you don’t play.
So, yes, potential Black Ops Cold War PS5 players can calm down now. The upcoming game won’t take up 40% of your internal SSD.
