Microsoft announced today during the Surface 2023 event that it’s bringing a few new features to the Bing AI Chat. One of them is the ability to personalize answers based on chat history.
This means that Bing can learn more about your interests and preferences over time, and then use that information to provide you with more relevant and helpful answers. If you’re not satisfied, you can also toggle off this option.
During the presentation, Microsoft shows an example of you’ve been using the chatbot to track your favorite sports team. So, next time you ask for an itinerary plan for a city where your team happens to play, Bing will automatically tailor the answer to your needs.
Take a look at how it works here:
Not just that, but the Redmond-based tech giant also rolled out its Copilot AI assistant tool to help you be a smart shopper.
Now being integrated into Bing and Microsoft Edge, Copilot Shopping is more than just a price comparison tool: it’s a visual search engine that can help you get the best deal you want using pictures of a product.
Bing AI Chat is also getting the hotly-talked-about OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 image generator, which will also rollout for Microsoft Paint and Designer.
