If you haven’t picked up Battlefield 1 yet in this week’s Deals with Gold yet, this weekend will be a really good time to try out the game before you buy it. Free Play Days are another feature of Xbox Live Gold, and they’re essentially free weekends. Battlefield 1 is the latest game to participate in the program, and you’ll be able to play it from 9 AM PST on Friday to 11:59 PM PST on Sunday.

Free Play Days are far more than just a trial, so you’ll be able to experience the entire game – including the single-player War Stories – without any limitations whatsoever for the entire weekend. If you end up enjoying the game and want to keep playing after the weekend’s over, though, you’ll have to actually buy the game.

You’ll be able to join in the free weekend by either going to the Xbox Live Gold membership section in the store or simply searching for the game after everything begins.

If you’d like to buy Battlefield 1, you can get it digitally for $30 if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member by going here. It’s slightly more expensive to get the game physically at the moment, with copies going for $39 at the time of writing on Amazon.

Will you be playing Battlefield 1 during its Free Play Days? Do you plan to bring any friends along with you? Let us know in the comments below!
