As part of Xbox Live Gold’s Free Play Days program, Battlefield 1 will be free to play for the weekend starting on Friday, September 22 and lasting through Sunday, September 24. This event is only available for Gold members, who will be able to download the game by going to the Gold Member area on the dashboard or by downloading it directly from the store.
If you wish to purchase Battlefield 1, a sale is running from September 19-25 where Battlefield 1 Revolution will be 40% off. This includes the base game and the Premium Pass, giving players access to four expansion packs. If you happen to already own the base game, you’re still in luck. The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will also be on sale for 40% off, which includes the two most recent expansion packs, They Shall Not Pass and In the Name of the Tsar, and two upcoming expansions.
Battlefield 1 is a fantastic game so be sure to try it out if you are a Gold member. All Gamerscore and saved game data over the weekend will carry over if you choose to buy the game.
