Microsoft Azure Express Route

Azure ExpressRoute lets organizations create private connections between Azure datacenters and infrastructure on their premises or in a colocation environment. Since ExpressRoute connections don’t go over the public Internet, they offer more reliability, faster speeds, lower latencies, and higher security than typical Internet connections. It is more suitable for scenarios like periodic data migration, replication for business continuity, disaster recovery, and other high-availability strategies. Microsoft this week announced the newest ExpressRoute in Dallas, US.

Below are the ExpressRoute for government locations Microsoft has in the US along with partner offerings that customers can take advantage of:

With predictable, reliable, and high-throughput connections offered by ExpressRoute, organizations can build applications that span on-premises infrastructure and Azure without compromising security or performance.
