August's free Games with Gold feature Bayonetta and Trials Fusion

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Slime Rancher ($20) for free during the month of August. Trials Fusion ($20) will be available as a free download from August 16 to September 15. On Xbox 360, starting August 1, Bayonetta ($20) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through August 15. Then on August 16, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Red Faction: Armageddon ($30) for free through August 31.

Slime Rancher is a farming game where you collect and harvest slime feces. I’m not even joking about that one. The slime feces which look like gems for some odd reason can be used to buy new items and upgrade your farm. You can also unlock new areas as it’s a rather expansive world. Trials Fusion is just misery because it’s very difficult. If you’ve ever played a Trials game, you know what you’re in for. Bayonetta is just an amazing third-person action game which is a cult classic at this point. Not only did it get amazing reviews, but the main character is just awesome. Lastly, Red Faction: Armageddon is a solid action game but probably the weakest one of them all. August is definitely a great month to be an Xbox One owner. Remember, all of these titles work on Xbox One (even the Xbox 360 ones though backward compatibility) so download them all!
