WinExtra reports that there is some evidence that AT&T is planning a big Windows Phone 7 push.
They have been told by a “trusted source†that AT&T are sending reps to Best Buy locations to check how well salespeople there know about Windows Phone 7 and that the best performers in the verbal quiz stand to win free Windows Phone 7 handsets.
The aim is apparently to get Best Buy reps better informed and to make them more likely to push Windows Phone 7 over Android, a laudable goal from our point of view.
AT&T are Microsoft’s Premier Windows Phone 7 Partner, and it’s about time that we see some evidence of this in action.
