At their Computex 2019 event Asus launched two new laptops for professions, the ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo.
These are extremely portable laptops that have a ScreenPad Plus, the new generation of what Asus calls the world’s most intelligent touchpad. The ScreenPad Plus offers a larger display (which also covers the entire width), more intuitive design and a seamless collaboration with the primary screen, which ensures a better workflow on multiple screens.
The ZenBook Pro Duo contains a 15.6 ” 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) OLED HDR screen with a 14 ” 4K (3840 x 2160) ScreenPad Plus, is powered by a 9th Gen Intel Core processor with eight cores and has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 ray-tracing graphics. In addition, it is characterized by a 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3, NumberPad 2.0, Amazon Alexa voice control and a specific button for turbo cooling.
The ZenBook Duo contains a 14 ” FHD display with a 12.6 ” FHD ScreenPad Plus, an Intel Core i7 processor and discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. Both models feature Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with Gig + to deliver network speeds of up to 2.4Gbps.
The laptops will hit the market in Q3 2019. Pricing has not been released yet.
