We recently reported that Microsoft is working on bringing file syncing between your Android phone and PC on its custom Android launcher. Today, the company released the new file syncing feature, titled Arrow Hub, to users — allowing them to sync any file between their Android phone and PC via OneDrive. The feature can be used as a card (read: widget) and users can access it from the launcher itself.

Microsoft is also adding a couple of other new features to Arrow Launcher with the latest update. The company has improved the search feature to make it more responsive, but it also now allows for voice dictation and a QR/barcode scanner. The company has also added a new MSN News card, and more:

  • Search upgrade with voice search & QR/barcode search
  • More responsive search experience
  • New card: Arrow Hub card, your one-stop PC to mobile file transfer center;
  • New card: MSN News card with category selections;
  • Support more feature on backup & restore: Widgets/icon pack and more settings;
  • Voice input for Reminder & Notes
  • Option to turn off recent apps in app drawer

If you use Arrow Launcher on your Android phone, you can get the latest update from the Google Play Store here.
