After months and months of rumors, the new Apple iPhones are finally here. At the new Steve Jobs Theatre of the Apple Park, the company’s CEO Tim Cook introduced three new iPhones — including the new iPhone X.

Apple’s new iPhone X is the company’s most expensive iPhone to date. It marks the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, and it’s a very big deal. There is a lot of new changes in the new iPhone X. It has a radical new design, with an edge-to-edge “Super Retina” 5.8-inch display that looks absolutely stunning. That’s obviously not anything new, and we have seen that on phones like the Galaxy S8 and the Essential PH-1. The new iPhone X also has a new Face ID feature that can automatically unlock your phone with your face, and Apple is replacing the Touch ID fingerprint with the new Face ID technology. It’s like Windows Hello, but on phones. Microsoft and other companies have similar technologies on their smartphones, but they probably aren’t as accurate and fast as the new Face ID tech. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Apple is also changing up the design of its dual camera setup on the iPhone X, which is now vertically placed on the back. And now that the device has an edge-to-edge display, Apple couldn’t integrate a home button into the device which means the company is now opting for a software-powered solution that’ll give you a completely new experience with a bunch of new gestures. You swipe up to get to the homescreen, swipe up and hold to get to multitasking.

The new iPhone also comes with a seriously powerful new camera. The portrait mode now works with the front camera,  and the rear camera supports Dual OIS, too. The battery life is also better on the new iPhone X and offers 2 hours of extra battery life than the iPhone 7. More importantly, the new iPhone comes with a feature called Animoji that lets you make animated emojis with your own face. It actually looks really cool.

The company also unveiled the new iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus with a new glass back finish and a new gold color. There’s a new retina display and the new A11 Bionic processor which is apparently the most powerful chip ever in a smartphone. There’s also a new updated 12MP camera. To sum it up, the iPhone 8 is basically the iPhone 7S. It starts at $699, and the Plus variant starts at $899.

All of these new iPhones support wireless charging. Yes, finally. Apple is also launching a new dock called the AirPower that will let you charge the new iPhones, the new Apple Watch and the AirPod on it.

The new iPhone X will sell for a whopping $999, and start shipping on November 3rd. Pre-orders open on October 27.
