One thing missing from Apple’s annual event this year was the MacBook Pro. While Apple didn’t mention MacBook on stage, various rumours suggest that the company has been working on a bigger 16-inch MacBook Pro.
As per the photos shared by a Chinese website Chongdiantou, Apple is working on a 96W USB-C Charger for the upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro. If true, the 16-inch MacBook will have the most powerful charger. As far as authenticity is concerned, 9to5Mac notes that Chongdiantou has been reliable in the past especially surrounding the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max’s 18W fast charger.
Apart from the fast charger, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is rumoured to come with a high-end processor along with edge-to-edge display and new keyboard design. While it’s not official, Apple might hold another event in October where the company will announce the new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and a refreshed iMac. There’s no confirmation on the dates or the hardware so it with a pinch of salt.
