Early this month, Apple announced their Beats Powerbeats Pro truly wireless headphones. This new headphones will be available for pre-order for $249.95 this Friday, May 3rd at 7 am PT in the US and Canada. Apple will start shipping them on May 10th.

Powerbeats Pro’s adjustable, secure-fit earhooks are customizable with multiple eartip options for extended comfort and are made to stay in place. It will offer up to 9 hours of listening time in each earbud. Each earbud has full volume and track controls so you don’t need your iPhone or other device to adjust your music. Auto Play/Pause sensors know when the earbuds are in your ear, jumpstarting your workouts as soon as you’re ready to go. And it also comes with voice-assistant capability on a variety of compatible devices.

Beats claims they offer improved sound quality due to speech-detecting accelerometer and two beam-forming microphones per ear and feature an upgraded driver for “efficient, pressurized airflow”, with low distortion and great dynamic range across the frequency curve. They feature the same H1 chipset as the new Airpods and touchless “Hey Siri” support.

The Powerbeats Pro will be available in black, ivory, moss and navy. See Apple’s launch video below.
