AMOLED vs SLCD vs TFT compared on the HTC Desire and HTC HD2

Ai.rs blog have managed to get their hands on 3 generations of HTC screens, with the HTC HD2 having the normal TFT screen, the HTC Desire having an AMOLED screen and the new HTC Desire having an IPS SLCD screen from Sony.
They compared the screens in bright sunlight, shade and office conditions, and while simply looking at the video there did not seem to be much difference, except for better viewing angles on the AMOLED screen, the reviewer came away liking the SLCD screen the most, due to more natural colours.
