Amazon Kindle App In Windows Store Updated With In-app Store

Amazon today updated its Kindle Reader app for Windows 8/RT devices. This new update brings in the ability to purchase books/magazines within the app.

This release includes an in-app store for touch optimized devices along with improvements to the reading and library experiences.
(In-app store is available in English for customers with an Amazon.com account)

Amazon’s Whispersync technology automatically syncs your furthest page read, bookmarks, notes, and highlights across all your devices that have the Kindle app installed and across any Kindle device. It is one of the best reading apps available in Windows Store at the moment.
