As of today, it will be much faster to activate the Alexa app for Windows 10.

Like Amazon Echo devices, you now just need to say “Alexa” to activate the app.  You can also leave the app running in the background while making commands, making for a fully hands-free experience.

The update also brings support for Pandora, so you can ask Alexa to play music stations directly through the app.

Until AI support comes to Cortana, it seems like Alexa will be the superior digital assistant.  You can download the latest version from the Microsoft Store.
