Amazon today announce the all-new Kindle Oasis featuring a 300ppi display with a new color adjustable front light. With this new feature, you can customize the color tone from cool to warm based on your need. Oasis even allows you to schedule the screen warmth to update automatically with sunrise and sunset.

Thanks to the next gen e-ink technology, the new Kindle Oasis supports fast page turns. It is also waterproof, so it can withstand accidental drops and splashes. Amazon says it is IPX8 rated to protect against immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes.

Other highlights:

  • Six months of Kindle Unlimited is included for free: with access to millions of eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, kids’ books, and more, including popular books like Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Divergent by Veronica Roth, Elon Musk, by Ashlee Vance, and My Sister’s Keeper: A Novel, by Jodi Picoult. After six months, Kindle Unlimited is just $9.99 per month.
  • Audible built-in: easily switch between reading and listening to over 455,000 professionally performed audio programs, including audiobooks, original audio productions, and exclusive content.
