Microsoft will be launching new devices at their Surface event on the 2nd October, and today reliable Microsoft leaker WalkingCat revealed a number of new codenames for the devices.
turns out they are (quite) new ?

Each device, of course, has a codename, but WalkingCat suggests a few of these may be more interesting than others.
so Harper and Avery Island are somewhat boring, Patagoina and Campus are new, and more interesting ?

One of these could be a Surface Pro with thinner bezels and LTE.
so… how about a Surface Pro with thinner bezel and LTE ?

WalkingCat also revealed that Microsoft will finally deliver much-needed USB-C ports.
USB-C, USB-C everywhere…… someone even got two ?

He also revealed the one device is 13 inches and the other, Patagonia, 15 inch. This implies the Patagonia is Microsoft’s new 15 inch Surface Laptop 3.
hint: Campus is 13 inch and Patagonia is 15 inch ?

Hopefully, WalkingCat’s suggestion of two new and interesting devices means that one of them could be Microsoft’s long-rumoured folding laptop, though this still seems unlikely.
WalkingCat also suggested some new colours such as SandStone, Poppy Red and Ice Blue may be coming, and also a Surface Laptop without the controversial Alcantara.
Sandstone ? Poppy Red ? Ice Blue ? https://t.co/NRfAMDJgIo

how about Surface Laptop without Alcantara ? anyone ?

Microsoft will apparently show off an accessory called Amore.
another code name: Amore. its an accessory, maybe just a type cover, or maybe different.

Additionally, Microsoft will be releasing a new Surface Pen, code-named Katana. This will presumably be one with wireless charging included.
okay… another accessory code name : Katana. the pen for Campus.

Hopefully, these teases will bring some excitement to Microsoft’s Surface event, which otherwise is not expected to reveal anything really radical.
