Opera’s official Windows Phone app recently dropped the beta tag. The Opera browser on Windows Phone comes with a several features and it’s pretty decent feature-wise. However, the company may introduce a universal Windows 10 app later this year to take on Microsoft Edge. The company revealed its plans to introduce a Windows 10 app “later this year” on Twitter:

Windows 10 is set to be released on July 29th while Windows 10 Mobile is expected to come in September/October. Therefore, don’t expect Opera to launch the universal app sometime soon.

If you use Opera, are you glad that the company is planning to release a universal app?

Thanks, MohammadMSFT for the tip!
