13 million PUBG cheaters have been banned in just 14 months

PUBG creators Bluehole have announced that over thirteen million players have been banned since the game’s release.

The high number of players have been removed from the playerbase on suspicion of cheating, resulting in an instant ban. While there has been a considerable drop in bans-per-week, PUBG’s new anti-cheat detection still sees a large number of bans on a weekly basis.

Redditor “sjk045” has compiled every strike of the banhammer into a simple graph. The data shows that week 42 of the game’s lifespan saw a large spike in removals equalling a million players.

Nevertheless, the devs have created a safe place for players. Unlike many of its AAA counterparts, PUBG’s large ban numbers make sure that everyone is fighting fairly.
