WhatsApp  has just received an update for Windows Phone devices. The latest update pushes the app to v2.12.300which improves the chat UI. The app introduced text grouping in the last update. Now the new update just refines the experience making the chat bubbles move adaptive to the messages typed. This means that the bubbles will automatically adapt to the length of the text and make the chat window look cleaner. Check out the screenshots above to get a fair idea about the new changes.

The update debuted earlier in the WhatsApp beta app and has now come to the mainstream version.

The update  also brings some significant changes to notifications. In this latest versions notifications of messages received while the app is closed will be cleared from the Action Centre when the app is opened.

The toast and Action Centre message is now also a lot more expansive, and users will most likely be able to read the whole message if its less than 4 lines.

The Live Tile has also been improved, and will now not only indicate missed messages, but offer a brief preview on the other side.

Lastly the Info page has also seen some minor restyling.

You can download the app from the Windows Store at the link below. If our readers notice any new features let us know below.
