Vine Windows Phone

In a blog post Twitter has confirmed that they will be discontinuing their mobile Vine apps.

While Twitter does not explain the reasons for the move, it is likely related to their attempted sale and associated cost cutting measures which follow its failure, which will see 9% of Twitter’s staff being cut.

For now the website, apps and contents are not going away, but it is likely just a question of time before a definite move regarding the service will take place.

The app is still available to download for Windows but its removal would be a shame, as it is one of the few new media services which offered good support for Windows Phone early on.

If you want to download Vine while it is still available, you can get it from the link below.
