As more and more people are coming under the social media umbrella it’s becoming difficult for the social media giants to provide a safe, clean platform and to take immediate actions against those violating rules. Twitter takes a significant step towards achieving maximum output when it comes to proving a clean and safe platform.

The company today has announced that it would now require its users to be more specific when they report any tweet. From now on, if you want to report a tweet that contains personal information such as contact information, address, etc you need to mention it categorically. The steps that you now need to follow is: Report Tweet > It’s abusive and harmful > Includes private information, and now a new menu will appear that will ask you to specify what kind of private information does the tweet contains. Note, you can select multiple options here.

Twitter says this new feature will help them speed up the review process which will, in turn, help the company to take actions quickly. Twitter will roll out the feature from today on both web and mobile version of its app. You can see the process in action in the below tweet.
