Popular Chinese OEM Xiaomi is planning to release its first laptop tomorrow at a press event. Today, photos of this Mi Notebook along with pricing and spec details got leaked. As you can see from the image above, Mi Notebook will come with metal unibody structure with limited number of ports. We can also see that it will come with both USB Type-C and USB 3.0 ports.
Specs:
The device will come in two different editions. The standard Mi Notebook will come with Intel Core-i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. The pro version of this device will come with 15.6? display, Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, NVIDIA GTX 970M 4GB DDR5 graphics, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.
Pricing:
The standard version will cost 3999 Yuan (~$600 USD) and the pro version will cost 6699 Yuan (~$1000 USD).
The only disappointment is that Mi Notebook will offer only 6 hours of battery life which is not impressive by today’s standards.
